Guildford Borough Council is seeking tenders from experienced Service Providers to provide Domestic Gas Servicing and Repair services in approx. 2 200 domestic dwellings within the Contract Area (Domestic Area West). Guildford Borough Council is seeking tenders from experienced Service Providers to provide the following services (where fitted) in approx. 2 200 domestic dwellings within the Contract Area: (1) An annual gas safety check and service of all council owned domestic gas appliances. (2) Annual safety check of all council owned domestic mains pressure unvented hot water cylinders. (3) An annual check and test of all battery operated smoke detectors including fitting a new battery. (4) An annual check and test of all battery operated carbon monoxide detectors including fitting a new battery. (5) All day-to-day, planned, reactive and emergency maintenance including emergency repairs as required. (6) Operate an out-of-hours emergency callout/repair service. (7) An annual maintenance check of all council owned domestic air source heat pump systems. (8) An annual maintenance check of council owned solar thermal installations. (9) An annual inspection and condition report of domestic cold water storage tanks and where required carry out any remedial works. (10) Undertake boiler replacement and system upgrade works, as required. (11) Undertake the installation of ‘first time’ domestic central heating and hot water systems.
