Construction work for university buildings

Tender description

The RCA wishes to appoint a contractor to construct a new building of 15 000 sqm (GIA) in which to accommodate both existing and future learning, making and research activities, all of which is central to realise their 2016–2021 Strategic Vision and future proofing the institution's campus for the long term. The RCA appointed a design team under the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) framework in October 2016. The team have developed the design ready to submit a planning application. The project will be procured under a 2 stage design and build procurement route, with key design team members being novated to the contractor.
