Tender description

Tenders were invited for the provision of New Build and Refurbishment Works for schools and community buildings in Scotland in 4 value bands as follows. Value Band 1 projects up to GBP 2 000 000 Value Band 2 projects from GBP 2 000 000 to GBP 4 000 000 Value Band 3 Projects from GBP 4,000,000 to GBP 10 000 000 Value Band 4 Projects over GBP 10 000 000 Tenderer's were allowed to apply for up to two value bands. Each value band Was evaluated separately, and there will be no aggregation of values across the value bands. Tenders coud apply for all lots under each value band. Under value band 1 lots were separated between New Build and refurbishment projects. For all other value bands tenderer's were required to offer Both new build and refurbishment services. Companies awarded each lot in Value Bands 2,3 and 4 may be required to enter into FAC-1 framework alliance contracts.
