KMCPRP-091 Framework for the Provision of Commercial Flat and Pitched Roofing

Tender description

Tenders are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees from Contractors with the relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the supply and installation of pitched and flat roofing to commercial buildings such as schools and offices under a framework agreement. It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will commence on 1st March 2017 and will expire on 28th February 2019 with provision for two (2), one (1) year extensions. The scope of the contract includes the reroofing of a mixture of pitched and flat roofs using a variety of new and reclaimed slates on pitched roofs and a 3 layer insulated felt system on the flat roofs. The flat roof systems must include a 20 year insurance backed guarantee covering labour, materials and design. The majority of works are carried out on non-housing properties which include Corporate Buildings, Leisure facilities and Education Buildings. Keywords: roofing, flat roof, pitched roof
