Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council invited quotes from suitably qualified providers for the supply and installation of heating pipework at Broadlea Primary School, Newport Road, Lake, Isle of Wight, PO36 9PE. The contract started on 17 December 2016 and will finish on 24 February 2017 or as per agreed programme. These works aim to resolve a leak in the heating system which is believed to be in the floor pipework trench. The heating pipework in the trench shall be abndoned and replaced with pipework running at high level through the school, reconnecting to the heating circuits. Allowance must be made for all associated asbestos testing and removal work as identified within the asbestos R&D survey report.
