Electrical Maintenance and Minor Works Service Contract (1289)

Tender description

Ealing Council wishes to procure an Electrical Maintenance and Minor Works Service Contract across our building stock boroughwide. Contract delivery will be to all housing stock owned and managed by the Council including but not exclusive to flats and maisonettes within high, medium and low rise residential developments, hostels and sheltered housing schemes as further described below. The Contract comprises of the following elements; Design, Installation and Repair requirements of the door entry systems, maintenance of the warden call, fire and intruder alarms/emergency lightning, TV aerial and Misting Systems Maintenance. This scope of service includes test/repair/upgrade elements, annual maintenance, minor works, upgrades, preventative planned maintenance and responsive repairs. The Council will enter into a contract based on the NEC3 Term Service Contract, amended and incorporating the documents stated in the tender pack. The estimated contract value ranges from £13,000,000 and 15,000,000. Guarantee cannot be given by Ealing Council with regards to the volume, trade requirement, value, duration, category nor continuity of the Service. The Council of the London Borough of Ealing (Ealing Council) wishes to appoint one contractor across our building stock boroughwide, to be awarded to the tenderer with the most economical advantageous tender in accordance with the evaluation criteria set out in this document The Service period is 4 years, unless extended by the Employer with the agreement of the Contractor. The Employer may propose one or more extensions to the Service period up to a maximum of 4 further years by serving written notice to that effect on the Contractor.
