Bldg 6 Refurbishment IWM Duxford

Tender description

Building 6 is a detached building on the North site at IWM Duxford and is currently occupied as an archive store. Part of the building will remain in use during these works. A summary of the works is as follows:  Installation of new lift shaft and lift car;  Structural and other alterations to provide new photographic, conservation and research facilities;  New partitioning and fire doors;  New floor coverings;  General redecorations;  New kitchen and bathroom installations;  New conservation laboratory fittings and lighting rig to Photographic Studio;  Provision of window film and blackout blinds to windows;  Associated mechanical and electrical alterations and installations.
