Review of existing land and property portfolio for suitability for residential development

Tender description

The Council is seeking to procure a professional services consultant (the Supplier) to review its existing land and property portfolio of circa 75 sites for suitability for residential development. Working with senior officers the Supplier will provide guidance and market advice to create a long term strategic programme for development and disposal. The intended outputs of the Service will be to: • Create a site assessment matrix and review the existing sites from the portfolio ranking them based upon market conditions, development plan status, physical constraints and informal advocacy for ability to achieve planning permission. • Use this information to undertake site viability appraisals of the top 20 sites and build upon the market intelligence and recommend the top five or six sites.
