Tender description

The Contracting Entity intends to establish a multi-supplier framework for the provision of Minor Civil Engineering Works to Irish Water. It is envisaged that each item of works will be requested in a planned manner where work packages are identified in advance of each call off. The framework is divided into 4 Lots. A high level description is given below. Further details of the Lots are given in the pre-qualification document. — Lot 1: All works and services associated with Sewer Rehabilitation Works and Sewer Pipe laying — (Regional) — Lot 2: All works and services associated with the laying of new potable water mains — (Regional) — Lot 3: All works and services associated with the refurbishment and capital maintenance of Service Reservoirs — (National) — Lot 4: Design Build works (Miscellaneous Civils) — (Regional) Rehabilitation Works associated with Non-Man Entry Sewers (inside sewers of less than 900 mm diameter, or non-circular sewers smaller than 900 mm x 600 mm.). Rehabilitation Works associated with Man Entry Sewers (work inside sewers of 900 mm diameter and above, or non-circular sewers larger than 900 mm x 600 mm). Laying of new Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC), Polyethylene (PE), and Ductile Iron watermains of up to 300 mm nominal bore. Replacement of existing watermains with new uPVC, PE, and Ductile Iron watermains of up to 300 mm nominal bore in size. Rehabilitation of existing watermains of various material types. Preparation of a non-intrusive reservoir inspection report (if necessary) with associated survey drawings showing site layout. Condition survey of additional water infrastructure on site. Advance piloting and investigation works along the pipeline route(s) to undertake investigation and tracing of all existing underground utilities for enabling works. Civil Engineering works and services associated with the design and construction of water / wastewater structures and/or ancillary works which may include but not be limited to: — Process Tanks, — Treated Water Storage Tanks, — Dam refurbishment, — Pre-cast structures, — Pumping Stations, — Water / Wastewater Treatment buildings.
