N55 Corduff to South of Killydoon Realignment Scheme, Section A - Land & Property Valuation Services

Tender description

The overall project involves the widening and realignment of two sections of the N55 to a Type 2 Single Carriageway (7.0m carriageway with hard strips). The project is designed to significantly improve safety for road users. The existing sections are deficient in terms of horizontal geometry, carriageway width, sight distance at junctions and also in terms of the irregular vertical profile of the carriageway. The Project Area is located along the N55 in County Cavan. Section A comprises 2 distinct phases which are separated by a distance of approximately 1.5km as follows: (i) Phase 1 is approximately 1km in length, from a point south of the town of Ballinagh, in the townlands of Garrymore and Pottahee and (ii) Phase 2 is approximately 2kms in length, located approximately 1.5kms south of Phase 1, in the townlands of Corduff, Oghill and Ballytrust. The Consultant will be required to provide all land and property valuation services necessary for the acquisition of the lands for the N55 Corduff to South of Killydoon Realignment Scheme which are included in the Cavan County Council N55 Corduff to South of Killydoon Realignment Scheme, Phases 1 & 2, Compulsory Purchase Order, 2015. These services include, but are not limited to, all land and property valuation services, assessment of claims submitted in response to Notice to Treat, negotiation & settlement of claims, assessment & arbitration services.
