Tender description

The works will consist of the comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair of existing equipment and the supply and installation of new and/or replacement equipment at properties within the Borough of Poole and Bournemouth Borough Council area. This service is to currently needed to support Adult Social Care- Services (ASCS), Children Services (CS),Poole Housing Partnership (PHP) under Borough of Poole (BoP), and Housing and Communities (H and C) under Bournemouth Borough Council (BBC). The requirements may change at any point during the life of the contract and the predicted spend is therefore not a guarantee. Open procedure with 2-stage quality. Price: Quality split was 60:40. First stage criteria and weightings were as follows: Relevant experience and contract examples: 4 %; Achieving response times: 4 %; Procedure for responding to client requests: 4 %; Procedure for attending out of hours call outs: 4 %; Procedure for quality control: 4 %; Complaints procedure: 4 %; Complaints for faulty or sub faulty work: 4 %; Percentage of call outs to be completed first time: 4 %; Method statements for KPIs: 8 %; For the first 4 ranked tenderers Quality Stage 1 Weighting was then reduced to 24 %, in order that Quality Stage 2 Weighting is 16 %, to make the 40 % Quality total.
