Tender description

St George's Concert Hall in Bradford is the oldest purpose built concert hall in Britain and the third oldest in Europe. This beautiful building boasts an amazing and colourful history and is home to the longest running orchestral season in the UK. It is owned and managed by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The Council is looking for a contractor to undertake a programme of works to maintain and improve the building as one of Bradford's key heritage venues and cultural attractions. This includes work to the roof, outer stone work and internal front of house and bar area. The planned completion date of the works is September 2017 with sectional completion in April 2017. Single Stage firm price ‘Traditional’ contract with Sectional Completion JCT 2011.
