De Montfort University, Leicester is seeking to appoint a Contractor to carry out the refurbishment of the Portland building. The Contractor is required to carry out the refurbishment of the current space to provide teaching, laboratory and office space. The proposed works are to include: o Removal of asbestos, existing internal partitions and finishes o Replacement of windows o New partitions where shown o New floor finishes o Decoration o New fixed furniture o Adaption of existing and new suspended ceilings o Adaption of existing and new Mechanical and Electrical installations
