Who Speclialist Work With You'll be expected to work across Regulatory Delivery, on all and any of our projects. That means working with delivery managers, product managers, developers, designers, creatives, policy people, legal people, and senior management. What Specialists Work On Conducting research sessions to understand user needs across multiple projects/services. Conducting research to test new product and concept developments. Creating user stories, personas and journeys based on research. Feeding user needs into the iterative development process. Ensuring user needs are understood in the service design. Promoting user-centred design principles and best practice. Devising research strategies to generate focused insights. Designing, managing and analysing ad-hoc surveys/research projects. Converting concepts into high-quality stimulus material. Translating user data into product/service requirements that feed into prototype/product development. Presenting findings, design/business recommendations and customer insights to senior decision makers. Building Regulatory Delivery's user research capacity. Where the Work Takes Place 1 Vic Street, London. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Onsite three days, some travel required to other RD offices in Birmingham and Teddington. Work Location 1 Vic Street, London. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Experience gathering user requirements for web based services Experience of working in an agile development environment with designers and developers to create new digital products and services Experience of audience modelling and developing design personas Experience across web content, tools and transactional services, especially those with complex user journeys Experience building the client's capacity to conduct user research sessions Experience researching and assessing the requirement for assisted digital support Experience conducting user research for UK Government digital services Experience working to the GDS Service Standard Experience communicating findings to those new to user research/user experience Have strong verbal and communication skills to be able to streamline complex and/or technical language, processes and information to make it user-friendly Experience making recommendations based on user research, testing, analytics and feedback Nice to Haves 1 years’ experience of user research within Government Awareness of trends in the digital sector Previous experience leading mixed teams of designers and researchers No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers Be transparent and collaborative when making decisions Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 55% Cultural fit 15% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet Budget range £500.00
