Redecorating and refurbishment of Daventry District Council offices and Abbey Advice Centre

The Civic Office Refurbishment involves redecoration and re-carpeting of the offices throughout in order to improve the working environment and lifecycle of the building (NN11 4FP) This will require the decanting of DDC staff members to the Abbey Advice Centre (NN11 4BT) and numerous internal moves within the Civic Offices in order to facilitate these improvements. However before this can happen the Abbey Advice Centre needs to be refurbished so it is up to the required standard for those staff that will be moved. This involves segmentation and modernisation throughout to provide both public services accommodation and private commercial office accommodation within a modernised building to current market standards A programme of decorative finishes, repair and modernisation has been identified covering suspended ceiling, lighting upgrade (LED), full redecoration, joinery works and floor covering renewals internally along with maintenance works including window maintenance/renewal and render redecoration externally.
