Tender description
Norfolk County Council is looking to procure a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for its Passenger Transport services requirements. Norfolk County Council is looking to procure a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), to replace its existing Passenger Transport Framework Agreement, for its Passenger Transport services requirements including but not limited to local bus service, home to school transport, and adult and child care transport. The majority of transport contracts operate wholly within the County of Norfolk but a small number start or finish beyond the County boundary. Admittance to the DPS will be on a qualitative basis and contracts awarded though the DPS will be on the basis of lowest price or price and quality. The Council procures around 800 passenger transport contracts per year and the annual spend on passenger transport contracts is in the region of 40 000 000 GBP. It is anticipated the DPS will run for a minimum of 5 years and then be reviewed on an annual basis.
