Tender description

The successful Tenderer will be required to apply Anti-skid Surfacing to areas that are subjected to high braking forces, such as traffic light approaches, junctions, approaches to roundabouts, pedestrian crossings and cycle lanes, as required within the Rotherham area. This will include epoxy resin high friction surface treatment systems, thermoplastic high friction surface treatment systems and coloured friction surfacing. Traffic Management will not be required. The annual spend is perceived to be approximately 50 000 GBP per annum. This amount of spend mentioned above is guaranteed. The framework will be awarded initially for a period of 1 year, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further 3 12-month periods, each on a year by year basis. It is intended to award the framework agreement to a sole provider. The details set out in this ITT are given in good faith and believed to be correct. However, RMBC does not warrant the accuracy of those details and each Tenderer should make its own appropriate enquiries.
