Tender description

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) has awarded contracts for the for the provision of services for Lot 1 — Service and maintenance of community equipment and Lot 2 — the provision of minor adaptations from 1.8.2017 for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. PPM and Breakdown This refers to the service and maintenance required for the upkeep of the loaned community equipment required for beds, mattresses and hoisting equipment. It includes, but is not limited to: i. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) — inc. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and manufacturer service maintenance. ii. Breakdown Call-out Service — in and out of hours cover for high risk equipment. iii. Maintenance of Overhead Hoists and tracking. Minor adaptations covers the small changes (under 1 000 GBP) made to a Service User's home. This includes installation of items such as grab rails, fixed toilet frames, second stairway rails and basic telecare equipment, installation / removal of overhead hoists and installation/removal of temporary ramping.
