Refurbishment and completion of 11 houses at Cluinin Mountrath Co Laois

Tender description

The objective of this tender is to select a contractor to complete the works required to bring eleven unfinished properties back into use. The required works consist of the completion of units which have to date been partially constructed. The eleven units consist of 10 nr 3 bedroom houses and 1 nr 2 bedroom house. The houses are at varying stages of construction with each house roofed and sealed. The incomplete houses are of a timber frame construction with a brick and rendered finish to the front and a rendered finish to the sides and rear. The roof is a pitched tiled roof with PVC fascia and soffit. A masonry constructed chimneystack is provided with a rendered finish above roof level. The windows are PVC double glazed units. Some of the windows have been vandalised. The buildings are roofed and sealed with windows & doors provided, however, internally, work remains incomplete. Site works to the front of the properties has been completed, however, site works, boundary fencing and landscaping to the side and rear of the properties remains incomplete. Connections to services are incomplete. Making good of works previously completed is required throughout the buildings and the buildings are in various stage of completion and the tenderer should be aware of the remediation works as set out in the BoQ. the units are located at Cluinin, Mountrath, Co Laois.
