Trafford Council are undertaking a tender for inclusion on a framework to cover all aspects of Major adaptations. (Any permanent work to a home costing from 0 GBP and up to 7 500 up to 50 000 GBP which is carried out to help people with disabilities stay independent). The framework is split into 2 Lots. Lot 1 — Major Adaptations 0 - 7 500 GBP. Lot 2 Major Adaptations 7 501 to 50 000 GBP or above. Examples of Major Adaptations to domestic property of all tenures for the benefit of disabled people — Shower installations; — Alteration work to provide access into and around your home; — Provision of ground floor toilets and special toilets; — Bedroom and bathroom alterations; — Ramps. Extensions Contractors must be able to supply all services associated with General Building works and have the resources and capacity to undertake the following services: — Design and Build; — Build only; — Seek Planning application approval; — Carry out duties under the party wall notice procedures.
