The building is located on Dawlish Drive surrounded by residential properties and a playing field. The original main school building is an Grade II Listed Art Deco styled structure finished in red brickwork. The existing windows are Crittal style single galzed metal windows. The windows to the front elevation of the main school building have been already replaced in 2007.
