Tender description

Starting at carriageway level Apple Tree Wood is essentially a steep rising cutting adjacent to B6480. Landslips have taken place. As part of the remedial works a ground anchor solution (soil nailing) is required to anchor netting over the face of the reinstated slope to complete the geotechnical aspects of the work. The purpose of the ground anchors are to provide support for netting, which is to be placed over the face of the completed slope to prevent loose material from falling from the slope and to prevent the second slip from worsening and causing further safety issues and disruption to carriageway users.
