Tender description

In order to ensure that there continues to be an efficient route for the public sector to procure housing-led development in London until a new framework is put in place, Transport for London on behalf of the GLA is extending the term of the London Development Panel (Contract Notice: OJEU 2012/S 69-113942 and Contract Award Notice: 2013/S 121-206578) by 6 months beyond its 4-year term. The London Development Panel Framework commenced on 10.5.2013 for a term of 4 years and is due to expire on 9.5.2017. It has not proved possible to put in place a replacement arrangement which commences upon that expiry date. The extension of the 4-year term by 6 months (until 9.11.2017) will allow the much needed housing delivery to continue whilst a replacement framework is procured. The extension of the term of the London Development Panel will enable the procurement of housing led development in London to continue for a further 6 months. The development covered by this Panel is predominately residential but may include other uses that support the development, for instance commercial, retail, leisure or educational. The Panel does not cover the procurement of purely commercial sites or commercially led sites.
