Tender description

Contract 2 — Sighthill TRA Infrastructure Works which will be the second Infrastructure Works contract and is designed to delivery key infrastructure to support the eventual regeneration of the site. Contract 2 will include, but is not limited to. The delivery of roads network & street lighting (including intelligent streetlighting) networks(detailed design provided by GCC). The detailed design & construction of associated road retention structures. Delivery of the necessary earthworks to realise serviced development platforms across the site. Detail design, construction and connection of integrated services infrastructure including gas, power, comms, and potable water to deliver strategic, distributor and local services assets. Delivery of drainage (foul and SUDs),including detail design and approval of ‘hard’ SUDS conveyance structures only. Provide for integrated solutions to allow successful construction of serviced platforms (serviced by the above mentioned key services). Delivery of soft and hard landscape proposals including specialist sub-contractor / supplier design solutions. Demolition of buildings and structures (existing and redundant services and infrastructure no longer required). Localised remediation — asbestos materials from demolitions, deal with contamination ‘unknowns’ encountered during works. Carry out ecological pre-construction surveys and mitigation. Completion of all Statutory and non-statutory approvals in support of detailed designs / construction to ensure overall successful delivery. Discharge of, and compliance with, contractor related Pre-Commencement Planning Conditions. Detail design & delivery of Feature Landscape Lighting & Infrastructure. Diversion of major Scottish Water assets and other utilities.
