Hewens Primary School - Fit out of a kitchen and the co-ordination of services

Tender description

The Education Funding Agency requires a suitably experienced Contractor to express their interest to tender for the fit-out of a kitchen and the co-ordination of services at a primary school. Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust have recently completed a refurbishment of Hewens College. The Contractor will be procured on a full design and build basis for the works of design and installation of a new gas supply for the basement plant room and the new kitchen. This involves the second fix gas installation to the existing boilers in the plant room and the new kitchen. The completion of second fix of the new Academy kitchen, including all electrical, mechanical and plumbing items with in that design. The contractor will also need to fulfill the principle designer role in line with CDM 2015. The target construction programme runs from February 2017 to June 2017. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the following split: cost (70%), programme (20%) and Quality (10%)
