Tender description

Leicester City Council Housing Department invites Tenders for the provision of Water Management and Air Conditioning/Ventilation Maintenance. The proposed Contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for additional 1+1 years (4 years in total) and it is anticipated to be awarded to up to 3 contractors per lot. Any extension will be at the sole discretion of the Council. This contract will operate as a Framework Agreement. Within the scope of these works it will be necessary for the suppliers to review existing and provide new Risk Assessments. The authority may request for risk assessment and associated works to be undertaken outside of a building's normal operational working hours, therefore the suppliers must be able to meet this requirement. Lot 2 is intended for the successful Supplier/s to carry out remedial works such as those identified by the Water Risk Assessment and Monitoring work specified in Lot 1. Lot 3 is for the asset management, remedial and installation works and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation equipment. The systems are situated in many different situations and properties, such as working offices, warehouses, high-rise tower blocks and domestic residential housing.
