Tender description
This contract is for the delivery of transport for children with Special Educational Needs/Disability (SEND), Vulnerable Adults, Children in Care and for ad hoc journeys by taxi for Councillors. The times and days of operational journeys are indicated on the schedule within this contract and can include evenings and weekends where indicated. Ad hoc taxi journeys are as and when requested. Please note that scheduled journeys can not be guaranteed for the duration of the contract period and Wirral Council reserve the right to cancel scheduled journeys at its sole discretion. The estimated overall value of this tender is approximately 5 000 000 GBP. Bids for tenders will be sought through a restricted tender procedure which is a 2 stage process:
