Tender description

The overall scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: — Design and construction of water mains, sewers, pressure pipelines, pumping stations, storage tanks and reservoirs; — Sewers and water mains; — Cast in situ / precast reinforced concrete water retaining structures; — Pumping stations for water / wastewater; — Stations for disinfection boosting measures; — Ancillary above ground structures; — Ancillary MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, Automation) equipment installation. The overall scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: — Carrying out all construction activities associated with the laying of gas pipelines in rural, suburban and urban environments, including preparation of the working area, pipe laying, tie ins to existing network installations, excavation, testing, negotiation of existing services, ditching, backfilling, reinstatement, commissioning and other associated works. — Laying polyethylene gas pipelines by trenchless drilling methods. — Provision of adequate resources and plant to carry out crossings at any special locations, such as motorways, roads, canals, streams, railways, and major rivers. — The Contractor may also be required to carry out construction activities to install fibre optic ducting and access chambers along some or all of the proposed route of the natural gas and water pipeline, including the special locations, such as motorways, canals, railways, and major/minor rivers. The overall scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: — Design and construction of water mains, sewers, pressure pipelines, pumping stations, storage tanks and reservoirs; — Sewers and water mains; — Cast in situ / precast reinforced concrete water retaining structures; — Pumping stations for water / wastewater; — Stations for disinfection boosting measures; — Ancillary above ground structures; — Ancillary MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, Automation) equipment installation; — Carrying out all construction activities associated with the laying of gas/water pipelines in independent or common trenches in rural, suburban and urban environments, including preparation of the working area, pipe laying, tie ins to existing network installations, excavation, testing, negotiation of existing services, ditching, backfilling, and reinstatement, commissioning and other associated works; — Carrying out all construction activities associated with laying polyethylene gas and water pipelines by trenchless drilling methods; — Provision of adequate resources and plant to carry out crossings at any special locations, such as motorways, roads, canals, streams, railways, and major rivers; — The Contractor may also be required to carry out construction activities to install storm/drainage infrastructure, fibre optic ducting and access chambers along some or all of the proposed route of the natural gas pipeline including the special locations, such as motorways, canals, railways, and major/minor rivers.
