Temporary Modular Accommodation for a new School in Redbridge

Tender description

The Education Funding Agency requires a suitably experienced contractor for the supply and installation of new modular buildings for a new school opening in September 2016. The requirements include the provision of 4 classrooms with associated toilets and administration block; submission of planning application associated with the works; all groundworks; all utilities and services connections and liaison with statutory providers; all hard and soft landscaping. Tenders will also have to consider potential for provision of further accommodation in Sept 2017. The contractor will be procured on a two-stage design and build basis and it is anticipated the contract form will be JCT ICD. The target programme is from early April until mid August 2016. The contract is considered suitable for small or medium enterprises. Selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement and the contract will be awarded on the following split: Qualitative assessment (50%) and Quantative assessment (50%).
