Tender description

The scheme entails the construction of a new gyratory system at the location of an existing 5 arm roundabout, utilising the existing highway including carriageways, footways and verge areas. The works include: Excavation works, drainage, kerbing, street lighting, ducting, installation of traffic signals and carriageway construction, surfacing works, signing & lining. Works also include for the programming in, co-ordination and monitoring of public utilities who will be carrying out their diversion works required for the main scheme. The successful tenderer must ensure that the traffic flows constantly at this existing junction whilst the works are ongoing. The work requires a high level of experience of traffic and pedestrian management in an urban town environment.
