Tender description

A Contract for the construction of a comprehensive mixed use redevelopment comprising 580 residential units (434 as private and 146 as affordable) together with circa 50 000 sqft of commercial space and associated infrastructure, communal, public realm and landscape works on the Neptune Wharf and Monier Road sites, Fish Island. The contractor will also be required to provide various project management services under the Contract. Peabody Enterprises Limited (PEL) is the freehold owner of the sites on which the works are to be carried out. The private units constructed as part of the development will be sold on the open market. The affordable units will be transferred to Peabody Trust (PEL's parent company). Peabody (Services) Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of PEL) will enter into the Contract with the contractor named in section V.2.3) of this Notice on PEL's behalf. A Contract for the construction of a comprehensive mixed use redevelopment comprising 580 residential units (434 as private and 146 as affordable) together with circa 50 000 sqft of commercial space and associated external play areas, provision of new site access points with new internal access routes and means of circulation, highway surface improvements and associated surface and undercroft parking for cars and cycles, including private amenity, communal amenity and public realm areas and associated landscape works on the Neptune Wharf and Monier Road sites, Fish Island. The contractor will also be required to provide various project management services under the Contract. The estimated value of the Contract is approximately 133 453 176 GBP.
