Tender description

The City of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out building works within Saughton Park, Edinburgh and who can demonstrate their ability to deliver high quality craftsmanship and buildings that are sensitive to their environment. The works will be carried out under JCT for Building Works Contract. Saughton Park is one of Edinburgh's key heritage parks and a Heritage Lottery Fund grant has been awarded to restore and improve the park. The Parks, Greenspace and Cemeteries Department has been tasked with delivering these improvements and a new Master Plan has now been adopted following an extensive design and consultation process. All necessary planning permission has been granted and funding is in place for the majority of the scheme with the remainder expected to be in place before the contract is awarded.
