Ice cream and similar products

Tender description

Bournemouth Borough Council is looking for a supplier(s) for the supply and delivery of Ice Cream products. The supplier(s) will be required to supply and deliver a quality range of competitively priced Ice Cream products to Bournemouth Council catering outlets. Throughout the contract the Council would want the ability to change products and flavours as new products come into the market, or if demand changes, as well as have the ability to stock different ranges at different sites in order to optimise sales. The supplier will be required to supply free on loan refrigeration equipment as below for all of the sites. This equipment remains in the ownership of the contractor throughout the contract period and will be maintained and serviced by the contractor at no cost to Bournemouth Council. The Council currently has 13 trading outlets along Bournemouth seafront which the supplier(s) will be required to supply. Some of these sites may move locations along the seafront. The Council may open new sites or close others over the course of the contract. These new sites may not be restricted to the seafront and may be across Bournemouth and neighbouring towns. The Council also has 2 more trading outlets that are to be supplied as part of this contract. The Terrace Café that is located in the Town Hall, and a Café that is located in the Bournemouth Learning Centre in Ensbury Park. The tender has been split into 2 lots. These are: Lot 1 — Impulse. Lot 2 – Scoop. Suppliers are able to tender for 1 lot or both lots.
