Tender description

The City and County of Swansea proposes to create a sensitive high quality residential housing development comprising of 18 No Passivhaus Dwellings with a mix of 8 No 2 storey 1 bedroom semi-detached apartments and 10 No 2 storey 2 bedroom semi- detached houses. Therefore invites you to tender: To design, manufacture, supply and install timber frame structures including roof trusses in accordance with the attached drawings 8815 PL110, 114 and 120 to achieve full Passivhaus accreditation and certification. And is to include and allow for the following: Full design calculations to be provided prior to installation; Internal and External membranes and sheeting; Fire Barriers; Soleplates; DPC factory fitted to sole plate; First floor Joists; Party walls; Party floors to apartments; Internal partitions; Stairwell structures to be out-side of Passivhaus envelope but provisions allowed for elements to achieve min. Part LA of the Building regulation; Plasterboard Noggins; Longitudinal and diagonal bracing; Eaves materials including soffit bearers and gable ladders as necessary; Initial air tests and certification; Hoisting, cranage and movement of materials on site including any temporary access as necessary.
