Bournemouth Borough Council requires a supplier to carry out the maintenance, service and repair of fire safety and fre prevention measures within Council buildings. The works will be carried out all within our housing stock of over 260 flat blocks which are within a 6-mile radius from Bournemouth town centre, although requests for works on corporate assets may be made to the supplier. The works will consist of but is not limited to the following items. The contractor is advised that the full schedule of rates must be accounted for and delivered. The contractor is to note that Bournemouth Borough Council Housing and Communities has existing contracts for the provision of fire alarm testing and maintenance of emergency lighting. • Reinstatement of compartmentation lines (where damaged) • Repair / maintenance or refurbishment to building fabric and structure • Supply and installation of fire stopping products as detailed in the schedule of rates. • The installation, servicing and repair of fire stopping precautions / measures • Replacement of fire doors • Replacement of loft hatches • Installation of ceiling fire protection treatments • Installation of fire barriers, pipe duct and conduit sleeves • Installation of fire stopping • Application of fire upgrading coatings to surfaces • Works in association with Fire Safety Works • Testing of smoke ventilation or evacuation systems (active and passive) Keywords: Stopping, Fire, Housing, Safety
