Catherine Street-Roches Street, Limerick - Junction Improvement Scheme

Tender description

The proposed works to be carried out cover an area of approximately 1100m² at the junction of Catherine Street and Roches Street in Limerick City centre. The works entail improvements to the junction to improve safety for pedestrians and the mobility impaired, improve efficiency of traffic movcements as well as general street refurbishment to enhance the public realm. The works consist of the construction of footpaths and island build outs in decorative brick paving, new controlled zebra crossings and uncontrolled crossings with new ducting throughout, lining, signage, drainage, new limestone kerbing and paved footpath, resurfacing of the road and grounding of overhead electrical services.
