HS2 Ltd is hosting an industry day on 7.12.2016 to raise market awareness of the potential opportunities associated with its forthcoming stations procurement. HS2 Ltd is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway project known as High Speed 2. HS2's stations will form a significant part of the project's legacy. Successful delivery of the stations will not only provide excellent passenger experience but also provide a catalyst for growth. Construction of HS2's stations will rely on a number of critical disciplines, including without limitation: design, architecture, construction of civil structures, mechanical and electrical, public health, utilities, telecoms, security, CCTV, building and station systems. To deliver the new landmark stations, HS2 Ltd expects an integrated approach to design and construction. As gateways to HS2, the stations' design will be driven by the project Design Vision that embodies HS2 Ltd's commitment to ‘people, place and time’. The quality of the stations and the passenger experience offered will be a measure of HS2's success. The stations will meet not only the functional requirements but will be designed and delivered to make new places with integrated public realms and transport connections to help facilitate regeneration.
