Tender description
This notice relates to the establishment of 5 frameworks covering 5 areas of housing stock within London and Essex. The scope of each framework includes: a) Responsive Repairs: comprising but not limited to building responsive repairs at Family Mosaic housing stock including but not limited to plumbing, drainage and an emergency outside of normal working hours service. b) Minor/Improvement works: the survey, design and carrying out of maintenance and minor/improvement works to Family Mosaic housing stock, comprising but not limited to: — Refurbishment of kitchens, bathrooms and toilets; — Full or partial renewal of electrical installations and gas heating and hot water installations; — Internal improvements; — Energy and sustainability works; — External envelope repair and replacement works including windows, doors and roofs; — Cyclical decorations; — Communal area repair and replacement works; — External works and drainage; — Legal disrepair cases; — Disability aids and adaptations and all associated works. This lot relates to the establishment of a framework for Family Mosaic properties in London north east region and the Essex region. The scope of the framework comprises responsive repairs, maintenance and minor/improvement works (as detailed in the short description at Section II.1.4) and covers a mix of works, services and supplies. 2 contractors have been appointed to each framework and 2 call-off contracts awarded per framework each having a duration of 3 + 1 years. 1 contractor under the framework has been appointed as a primary contractor for each region and as the secondary (reserve) contractor for the other region to be utilised in certain circumstances including in the event of actual work volumes exceeding forecasting volumes by more than 10 %, the capacity of contractors and where contractors are not achieving key performance indicators. The scope of the framework comprises responsive repairs, maintenance and minor/improvement works (as detailed in the short description at Section II.1.4) and covers a mix of works, services and supplies. 2 contractors have been appointed to each framework and 2 call-off contracts awarded per framework each having a duration of 3 + 1 years. 1 contractor under the framework has been appointed as a primary contractor for each region and as the secondary (reserve) contractor for the other region to be utilised in certain circumstances including in the event of actual work volumes exceeding forecasting volumes by more than 10 %, the capacity of contractors and where contractors are not achieving key performance indicators.
