St Helens Council Invitation To Tender Open Procedure for Minor Aids & Adaptations to Domestic Properties to Improve Facilities for Disabled Occupants 2017 -2019

This replaces earlier Tender The-Chest.org ref DN170222 St Helens Council is seeking to create a ranked framework comprising three Bidders to carry out minor adaptation works to various individual domestic properties to improve facilities and accessibility for disabled occupants. The works are to be carried out in privately owned properties as well as to the public sector housing stock throughout the Borough of St Helens. The works will comprise individual work orders for minor alteration work to doors, gates and paved areas to improve facilities and accessibility for disabled occupants. There will be minimal design input required from the successful Bidders and the work orders fully referenced to the pre-priced schedule of works (Appendix D). Bidders must be able to accept and provide updates electronically for works details. The ranked framework will have three companies / organisations. These will take the place of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd depending on their placement in the Tender. Works orders will be offered in the first instance to the company / organisation in first place. Where the first placed company / organisation cannot accept a works order and / or there are contractual issues around performance then the works orders will be offered to the company in second place and then to the company / organisation in third place where the second placed company / organisation cannot accept the works orders. The three companies / organisations within the framework may also be invited to submit competitive quotations for individual works orders for jobs where the nature of the work cannot be covered by the pre-priced schedule of rates.
