Business Case Consultancy Services for the Smart City and 5G City Based Demonstrator

Tender description

The Catapult is in the process of building a business case for a new national project to build a large scale smart city and 5g demonstrator. By assembling a consortium of government, academia and industry organisations, the project will procure and construct a world leading large scale demonstrator to test and trial smart technologies and 5G products and services, at scale and in combination in a UK city. The project has two aims: 1. To prove the commercial benefit of new products and services and mobilise private investment to support market creation. 2. To address the challenges growing cities face, such as health, energy, transport and economic development. The Catapult now has a requirement for support to further the business case development including a regulatory assessment of the 5G use cases and deploying smart technologies in cities as part of the strategic case
