Tender description

Leicester City Council has awarded a contract for the provision of bespoke Manhole Covers and Gully Grates in the Greyfriars Heritage Area of the City. The Contract is for a one off purchase and is awarded to a single supplier. The provision will complement existing buildings and architecture in the area. The Greyfriars Townscape Heritage Initiative is a five-year heritage led regeneration programme, jointly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and Leicester City Council. The aim is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Greyfriars Conservation Area by preserving, restoring and enhancing its architectural and cultural heritage.
