Construction of Fleming Park District Energy Scheme

Fleming Park, Passfield Avenue, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 9NL Contractors are invited to tender for the Construction of Fleming Park District Energy Scheme at the site named above. The project offers Eastleigh Borough Council (EBC) the opportunity to build an energy centre which will provide a District Energy Scheme at Fleming Park. The district energy scheme will serve the new leisure centre currently under construction, replacing the existing building on site. The district energy scheme will be extended in the near future to include other clients in adjacent buildings. The district energy scheme design will provide heating and hot water services from a remote containerised energy centre. This containerised energy centre will house a gas fired CHP unit as the main prime mover, enabling the leisure centre and district energy scheme users to maximise energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint. All plant will be housed within the containerised plant room including the; gas condensing boilers, circulation pumps, control panel instrumentation along with associated valves and pipework.
