Tender description
Somerset County Council (SCC) is in the process of procuring a partner with whom to set up a new Social Enterprise (SE), into which the existing Learning Disability Provider Service (LDPS) services will be transferred. As part of the preparation for the new Social Enterprise it has been recognised that the LDPS Senior Management Team would benefit from some training to provide them with the skills required to operate in the commercial sector. The programme team has pulled together a Learning and Development Plan which indicates the training required to ensure that they have the core skills necessary to deliver key strategies that will help the service successfully transition to the new SE and operate effectively once externalised.
