BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL FINANCE, PROPERTY AND INFORMATION SERVICES SELECT TENDER LIST Project: Hunningley Primary School – Proposed two classroom extension, car park and external works package with further alterations and refurbishment to enhance and enlarge the teaching spaces within the existing school building adjacent to the extension. Ref: 07-17-17-1-1051 Estimated value: £560,000.00 Contract Start: 06 March 2017 Contract Completion: 14 August 2017 Description of Works: Construction of a new build two classroom extension to the front elevation of the school building incorporating teaching spaces, Cloakrooms, WC’s and Storeroom. Refurbishment and enlargement of four existing teaching spaces within the school building to incorporate wet areas and the replacement of the existing Dining Room floor finish. External works comprise the resurfacing of the existing playground and provision of surface water drainage, formation of a new car park with pedestrian circulation and installation of security fencing and gates to various locations across the school grounds.
