PP16048 - Phoenix Nursery Extension

Tender description

City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking a single contractor to carry out the following works at Phoenix Nursery. The Works comprise of the construction of two single storey extensions approximately 1.9m x 6.8m & 3.1m x 7.8m as outlined on the plan, to provide a breakout space for the Nursery and an extension to the school office and lobby with minor internal re-modelling. The construction is traditional brick and block with insulated cavity, built off a reinforced concrete raft foundation and floor slab; with flat roof to match the existing, covered with a proprietary built-up felt roofing system. Internal block walls and timber stud partitions forming the proposed layout. There are Mechanical and Electrical Installations to the new buildings. The work also comprises associated drainage provision and remediation of the immediate area around the new buildings. The Contractor is directed to the tender drawings to identify the exact shape, nature, extent and location of the works. The intention is to award this requirement to a single contractor.
