Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of Hostels Conversion & Refurbishment, PAN1368. There are 4 properties that require a full refurbishment/remodelling, they are all currently vacant and located in Leicester at the following addresses: • Property One: 31-35 Lower Hastings Street; • Property Two: 129 Loughborough Road; • Property Three: 102-104 Myrtle Road • Property Four: 17 Seymour Street. These properties all require major adaptations to refurbish and reconfigure into residential accommodation for affordable housing. The properties are; 3 decommissioned hostels (31-35 Lower Hastings Street; 129 Loughborough Road; 102-104 Myrtle Road) and one is a vacant house previously in Multiple Occupation (17 Seymour Street). The works entail the full refurbishment/remodelling of 4 properties into residential accommodation for affordable housing. Details as follows: • 31-35 Lower Hastings Street: is a decommissioned hostel that required conversion to 8 units as follows: 2 x1 bed flats; 6 x 2bed flats • 129 Loughborough Road: is a decommissioned hostel that required conversion to 9 flats as follows: 6 x 2 bed flats, 1 x 1 bed flat and 2 x 1 bed wheelchair adapted flats • 102-104 Myrtle Road: is a decommissioned hostel that required conversion to 2 units as follows: 2 x 4 bed houses • 17 Seymour Street: is a vacant house that required conversion to 1 x 5 bed house The full addresses (including postcodes) for all these properties can be found on page 10 of the Contract.
