This tender opportunity relates to the proposed expansion of Leesons Primary School, Leesons Hill, Orpington, Kent, BR5 2GA. The School is currently 1.5FE and is expanding to 2FE. The works include; 1) New build ‘modular’ block including 6 new classrooms, studio, toilet accommodation, and circulation space. 2) Traditionally built corridor linking existing school to new modular wing. 3) Internal adaptations and refurbishment of vacant wing for conversion into a new Day Nursery. 4) Provision of temporary modular accommodation to house decanted administrative functions and 1 teaching classroom. 5) Internal modifications to create new entrance area and administrative hub. We are looking for an experienced construction company who has demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of modular buildings within the Education sector. The principal part of this project is the construction of a modular built extension, but the lead contractor will also be expected to manage and carry out traditional building and refurbishment phases to complete the scheme. This PQQ will eliminate bidders who do not meet the strict criteria and we advise you do not apply if you cannot demonstrate the required experience. Keywords: Leesons
