Tender description

Construction of a new Incubator unit on a Greenfield site at Porton Down, near Salisbury. The unit will be approximately 3 900 m2 in size. Of traditional steel framed construction to include infrastructure and all services. The unit will be of 2 stories and designed to high environmental standards targeting BREEAM Very Good. Anticipated construction value is 7 000 000 - 8 500 000 GBP. The contract will be let Design and Build (D & B) basis. The current intention of the Council is to appoint a single Design and Build contractor with Council's Architect novated once the appointment is completed.
