Leicester City Council invites Quotations for the provision of refurbishment works that will take place at Humberstone Heights Golf Club. Humberstone Heights golf course is sited on the east side of the city. The site address is: Gipsy Lane, Leicester, LE5 0TB. The club house which is the subject of this refurbishment is located to the south-east of the golf course. The complex consists of an 18 hole course, nine hole pitch. a putt short course and a floodlit driving range. It also has a practice putting green, clubhouse with bar and catering facilities, with a large free car park. The reception golf shop is staffed by fully qualified golf professionals. Following a successful bid to Sport England, Leicester City Council has been awarded money to carry out internal refurbishment of various areas of the club house including changing rooms, toilets and common areas. The works will take place on the ground floor of the golf club and focus on the changing facilities and access considerations.
