Tender description

The scope of the works are to form an additional 14 Critical Care beds comprising part new build and refurbishment of existing internal accommodation in phases. The ward block opened in approx. 1983 with a pre cast concrete frame on a tartan grid of 6 600 mm. The ward is located on the lower ground floor of a 6 storey building and the works will progress in a phase manner. Over view of the contract works The proposed works are located between and adjacent to — Critical Care, MRI, PET scanner, theatres Ward accommodation and heavily utilised pedestrian/Service routes and ac circulation road. The site compound will be divorced from the site works. The broadly developed approximate areas comprise of: New build — 852 m2 Refurbishment — 761 m2.
